It has been another sensational performance from England's one-day batsmen.

Scroll down for reaction and highlights to the six-wicket win over Pakistan.

You can also read Stephan Shemilt's match report for full details of the day's cricket and more video highlights.

We'll be back on Friday for the fourth ODI from Trent Bridge.

I'll leave you with a video of the sheer carnage created by centurion Jonny Bairstow and his opening partner Jason Roy.

More from Jason Roy on Sky Sports: "I'm just focusing on Trent Bridge. I can sometimes get myself into a bit of a wobble if I look too far ahead and then if I'm not where I expect to be when I get there, I get myself into a bit of a pickle."

  3. Post update

England opener Jason Roy speaking to Sky Sports: "Jonny and I keep it quite serious to start. Then once we're in, we have a bit of a laugh.

"It's amazing to be back batting again. I was happy I was able to get a score at Southampton, I felt a little bit rusty in my movements, then today it clicked a little bit more.

"It was a belting, belting wicket, but I felt much better. I spent some time in the nets and did some drills with Colly this morning."

  4. Mark Wood 'hopefully' back for Trent Bridge

More from England captain Eoin Morgan: "When guys perform like this it builds confidence within the changing room. With regards to looking ahead [to the World Cup], that is a really positive thing for our group.

"Hopefully we'll see Mark Wood next game. His progress has been very good. Hopefully he'll be fit for Trent Bridge."

If Joe Root has a tremendous World Cup then England will get big, big scores, because they know they have the rock at that end that allows the big hitters to go out and play.

  6. Man of the match

England's Jonny Bairstow: "I was really pleased with that hundred. Coming back into English conditions after playing in the IPL was a big change and it's nice to hit the ground running. It was frustrating to drag one on - I wanted to get a 170/180, win the game and walk off that way."

I can't see how England don't make the top four in the World Cup. Then it comes down those two games. England have got so many positives to take from the negatives - the T20 World Cup in Calcutta, the Pakistan game two years ago in Cardiff when they didn't' arrive, ask themselves why and use it as a real driving force to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  8. Post update

Imam-ul-Haq actually hit the highest individual score today.

He scored 151 from 131 balls for Pakistan in the first innings.

  9. Post update

Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed: "At halfway we spoke and were very confident but our bowling was not up to the mark.

"I think they played better than us and that is why they won.

"We have to improve our bowling in the next matches. Both openers have played well and again Asif Ali played really well for us. That is a good sign."

How do you set a target against this England team? What is safe? I don't think anything will be. It's a testament to the team that they go out and make this chase look so easy. They're a tremendous team to watch.

  11. Post update

England captain Eoin Morgan speaking at the presentation: "I'm extremely proud. I thought the guys came out and played in the manner that we have done for some time now.

"We thought it was pretty on par at this ground and we felt it was a really good batting wicket. The two boys up front were absolutely outstanding and did set the platform for the way we wanted to go about the chase.

"We restricted them to a par score, we got off to a fantastic start, making inroads in the first 10 overs which is difficult to do. We didn't hold the momentum in the middle order."

Don't forget David Willey's brilliant catch too!

England's bowlers got some tap too today, don't forget, but the run chase has put that batting performance has put it into perspective.

It was probably only a par score from Pakistan.

Chris Woakes was England's most impressive bowler with four wickets.

Will England be able to play this way when there is consequences, when they can be knocked out of the World Cup? From what you hear around this England team, it looks like so far, so good. They'll be going into this World Cup fully prepared, with a strong mentality and Jofra Archer in the team, which is teh cherry on the cake.

Next up is Trent Bridge, which really is a bowler's graveyard.

Pakistan's fielding was atrocious. But to stroll to a 359 chase, with five overs to spare, without really - I don't think - getting into gears five and six? They are the team to beat.

England hit 16 sixes today. Some of them were monsters...

All teams around the world will have watched the two games, watched this England side, and know that anything you set them, England will be confident of chasing them down. They will be thinking they win the toss and ask England to bat first, then try and chase it down in the afternoon.

    Ramiz Raja

    Ex-Pakistan captain on TMS

It's tough bowling against this England line-up but you can help yourself by taking catches. They were spun into inaction by the relentless batting from England. When the chances came, they were too lethargic to cash in.

    Andy Zaltzman
