England look that much better than this Sri Lanka side, who are short of confidence.

  4. Post update

So, who is your man of the match?

Tom Curran took 3-17, Adil Rashid an excellent 4-36 and captain Eoin Morgan, who was talking about dropping himself not so long since, anchored the chase with an unbeaten 58.

  5. Post update

England win by seven wickets, and with 15 balls to spare.

That's a very, very good win - and they'll take a 2-0 lead in the series with two matches to go.

It was a such a comfortable victory. England have absolutely crushed this Sri Lanka side. And a six to finish the game.

    Eng 153-3

Sealed with a Ben Stokes six!

Stokes comes down the pitch and launches Amila Aponso back down the ground. He finishes on 35, with Eoin Morgan unbeaten on 58.

Eoin Morgan now has four fifties in his last five innings - and the other match was rained off so he couldn't reach it. And this is the guy who said he'd be happy to drop himself if it would benefit the team. Not sure that'll be happening any time soon.

  9. Eng 146-4

    Need 5 to win

Ooft. That's a nasty full toss from Amila Aponso and it gets the treatment it deserves from Eoin Morgan.

Wallop, and away through the covers for four.

Easy as you like for England, as they move within nine runs of victory.

This is just so straightforward for England. It's not even a challenge for them. They're far superior in the field, they were excellent with the ball, and they have got such a strong batting line-up. They are not even being tested.

  13. 50 for Morgan

    Eng 139-3

A flashing shot from Eoin Morgan - but he's gone with hard hands, and he gets the ball away for four!

That'll be a half-century for the England skipper, from 45 deliveries.

She likes to go over the minutiae of her days and always likes to speak to me about it, whereas I hate talking about teeth out of work so tend to just drift off when the subject gets talked about! Conversely, whenever I talk to her about cricket she gets a similar drift off look in her eyes! She prefers to play rather than talk about it! from James
  15. Eng 133-3

    Need 18 from 24 balls

Malinga is back and whirls down successive dot balls, before Eoin Morgan jogs a leg bye.

A full delivery is toe-ended away by Ben Stokes as England continue their slow jog towards the finish line.

  16. Eng 127-3

    Need 24 from 30 balls

Good running from Eoin Morgan, and England take six runs from the over with barely any effort whatsoever.

There are some miserable Sri Lanka fans watching on from the stands.

  18. Eng 121-3

A single ends the over, and England need just 30 from 36 balls.
