And with the breaking news of the Joyce sisters' retirement, that's where we're going to leave Group B - and Guyana.

Plenty of cricket to interest you over the next 24 hours - the Cricket Social will be on the BBC Sport website from 04:00 GMT to see if England's men can seal that Test series win over Sri Lanka, while the women are back in action tomorrow evening at 20:00 GMT against West Indies.

We hope you'll join us for some - or all - of the above. See you then.

Suzie Bates also fell going for the six which would have brought the Kiwis victory, but captain Amy Satterthwaite saw them home:

Ireland captain Laura Delany: "We played against NZ in Dublin and faced Suzie Bates and Sophie Devine then. We just needed more runs on the board.

"Four outstanding leaders - Cecelia and Isobel Joyce have announced their retirements too. I can't thank them enough for what they've done for us. The next 10-12 months will be about transitioning the team as we don't have any international fixtures coming up."

It's just been confirmed - both the Joyces are retiring as well.

  10. So, who's going to win it?

I still reckon Australia are favourites, but anyone from the last four can go on and win it from here.

And here's the last wicket to fall in Guyana - a memorable, valedictory catch for Clare Shillington on her final international appearance.

Players like Shillington, Metcalfe and the Joyce sisters have been the backbone of the Irish team for so long. Perhaps it could be the start of a new era when they get back to Ireland.

There were a lot of tears when one, if not both Joyces spoke just now. Are we seeing more than two retirements out there?

  14. Player of the match

New Zealand all-rounder Sophie Devine: "It's a little bit too late but it's nice to finish the tournament on a high. It's been a funny old tournament for us. The way I'm built, I'm probably suited to the power game but it's about balancing power and finesse. It's good to stay involved in the game with bat and ball."

One of the Joyce sisters is speaking to the team in the huddle. I can't tell which of them it is as they're identical twins.

  16. Post update

Ciara Metcalfe had to wipe her eyes a couple of times as Ireland took the field before the New Zealand innings - and it looks like it's Clare Shillington's turn to shed a tear or two now. And she's not the only one - one or two of the younger players look a bit emotional too.

What great servants those two have been to Irish cricket.

It was an entertaining cameo from Sophie Devine - here's how she got out:

Oh, well done New Zealand! There's a guard of honour for Shillington and Metcalfe as they leave the field. That's terrific by them.

There's always lots of things for Ireland to be positive about - Gaby Lewis batted brilliantly.
