  1. Post update

    Rikki Clarke

    That's it for day three.

It wasn't quite as epic as the opening couple of days, but still one that saw Surrey claim their eighth win in a row.

I'll be back in the morning to bring you the conclusion of the remaining game at Trent Bridge in Division One and the three matches in Division Two.

    Until then, goodbye.

  2. Stumps at Canterbury

    Northants 56-3 (target 320)

There's the close at the St Lawrence Ground.

Kent will go into the final day as strong favourites - they need seven wickets. Northants require another 264 runs.

  3. Post update

It's hard to argue with the Surrey man. They've been exceptional this season.

Meanwhile, they're into the final over between Kent and Northants.

  4. Post update

    Northants 51-3 (target 320)

Back-to-back maidens for Kent seamer Harry Podmore as Northants block out day three.

    12 balls remain.

  5. Post update

    Northants 51-3 (target 320)

Three overs to go at Canterbury.

Kent will be striving for that fourth Northants wicket before stumps.

  6. Post update

    Northants 43-3 (target 320)

Harry Podmore comes into the attack for Kent.

Five overs remain. Survival is the name of the game for Northants.

  7. Stumps at Bristol

Glos 87-4 lead Middlesex by 141 runs

Gloucestershire end day three leading Middlesex by 141 with six wickets in hand.

Is there enough time left in the game to force a positive result for either side after plenty of rain delays? All three results are still possible.

  8. Post update

    Northants 39-3 (target 320)

Alex Wakely and Richard Levi have another six overs to survive under the floodlights at Canterbury.

Another wicket tonight could spell curtains for their chances of victory.

  9. Post update

Glos 81-4 lead Middlesex by 135 runs

They're into the final four overs at Bristol.

Miles Hammond (40*) and Jack Taylor (12*) are showing plenty of fight for the hosts after those three quick wickets went down.

It could be a thrilling finish on day four.

  10. WICKET

    Vasconcelos b Stewart 6 (Northants 28-3, target 302)

Grant Stewart gets a wicket with his first delivery!

Ricardo Vasconcelos' stumps are shattered and Northants are three down in no time.

  11. WICKET

    Curran lbw b Henry 18 (Northants 28-2, target 320)

It's that man Matt Henry again...

The Kent paceman pins Ben Curran lbw and now has nine wickets in the match.

Kent are going toe-to-toe with Sussex and Warwickshire for these two promotion spots.

  12. Post update

So, that victory for Derbyshire leaves us with two games remaining this evening at Kent and Gloucestershire.

Hold on, there's been a wicket at Canterbury...

  13. BreakingDERBYSHIRE WIN

    Derbyshire (251 & 171) beat Glamorgan (121 & 132) by 169 runs

Tony Palladino fittingly finishes the game off by removing Michael Hogan for his 10th wicket of the match.

Glamorgan fought to prolong the match after today's big rain delay, but they're still rock bottom of Division Two.

  14. for Hogan

    Glamorgan 130-9 (target 302)

    That wasn't in the script!

Michael Hogan smashes Derbyshire seamer Tony Palladino for a maximum.

Ah... but now it's all over...

  15. WICKET

    Cooke b Ferguson 67 (Glamorgan 121-9, target 302)

Chris Cooke's fine resistance is finally broken...

The Glamorgan batsman is bowled by New Zealand paceman Lockie Ferguson for an excellent 67.

Michael Hogan comes in at 11 for the visitors. Derbyshire can smell victory.

  16. WICKET

    Procter c Billings b Henry 4 (Northants 11-1, target 320)

Wicket number 58 of the season for Matt Henry...

The big New Zealander gets Luke Procter caught behind.

And now the floodlights are coming on.

  17. Back out at Bristol

Glos 65-4 lead Middlesex by 119 runs

The light has improved and they're back out at Gloucestershire.

  18. Post update

    Glamorgan 121-8 (target 302)

This is a gutsy ninth-wicket stand by Chris Cooke (67*) and Kieran Bull.

They've been together for 17 overs now - either side of a long rain delay.

Can Derbyshire finish this game off tonight? 14 overs remain.

  19. Post update

Result: Sussex beat Leics by 274 runs

Sussex are now just a point behind Division Two leaders Warwickshire.

But that'll all change tomorrow when the Bears complete their match against Durham.

  20. BreakingSUSSEX WIN

    Sussex (373 & 210) beat Leicestershire (133 & 176) by 274 runs (Mohammad Abbas b Wiese 4)

The inevitable happens as Sussex move, for the time being, up to second in the table...

Mohammad Abbas takes a huge swipe at David Wiese but misses and is bowled.
