  1. Goodbye

I'll be back with Kalika Mehta tomorrow at 10:15 BST as the promotion and relegation fight enters its crucial stages.

I hope you can join us then.

    Have a good evening!

  2. Close of play at Edgbaston

    Warwickshire 188 & 0-0 v Hampshire 116

Just eight balls into Warwickshire's second innings they are taken off for bad light and stumps are called.

It has been a day filled with many many wickets, up and down the country.

  3. Post update

    Warwickshire 188 & 0-0 v Hampshire 116

And that means we're down to one game.

Warwickshire are batting in the Edgbaston gloom with a few overs left.

    What a day.

  4. Close of play at Grace Road

    Leicestershire 128 v Northants 199-8

The light has closed in at Leicestershire, the players go off and that's it for the day.

Northants have suffered an almighty batting collapse in the final session to leave the game in the balance.

That's good news for Notts who are also struggling at Hove.

  5. Warwickshire begin second innings

    Warwickshire 188 & 0-0 v Hampshire 116

Kyle Abbott has the ball in his hands with six overs left to bowl in the day at Edgbaston.

Will we see any more wickets this evening?

  6. Close of play at New Road

    Worcestershire 335 v Durham 142-5

    Joe Leach Ed Barnard

    It's stumps at Worcestershire.

The Division Two leaders will need four more wickets tomorrow to seal promotion.

  7. WICKET Kleinveldt (b Raine) 4

    Leicestershire 128 v Northants 199-8

    Calypso-collapso at Grace Road.

Rory Kleinveldt is bowled by Ben Raine to give the seamer his fourth wicket.

Northants' last six wickets have gone down for 31.

  8. Hampshire bowled out for 116

    Warwickshire 188 v Hampshire 116

Jeetan Patel wraps up the Hampshire innings as he traps Fidel Edwards lbw for a 13-ball duck.

The hosts take a 72 run lead into their second innings and after failing to pick up any batting bonus points Hampshire need to realistically avoid losing this match to retain their Division One status.

If they lose, they can only stay up if Somerset fail to beat Middlesex. That looks unlikely at the moment.

  9. WICKET Clark (c & b Leach) 60

    Worcestershire 335 v Durham 140-5

Graham Clark falls just before stumps as he sends a return catch to Worcestershire captain Joe Leach.

Four more wickets and the promotion party can start.

  10. WICKET Kerrigan (lbw b Raine) 0

    Leicestershire 128 v Northants 189-7

Nottinghamshire's players will sleep a little easier tonight - promotion rivals Northants are having a shocker of an evening session.

Simon Kerrigan is the latest man to go, lbw to Ben Raine.

  11. for Clark

    Worcestershire 335 v Durham 136-4

Graham Clark is enjoying himself at New Road.

The Durham batsman reaches his 50 off just 58 balls, including three sixes.

There are just a couple of overs to go there.

  12. Close of play

It's now stumps at Old Trafford, Canterbury and Bristol.

Click here for the full scorecards from today's play.

  13. WICKET Murphy (lbw b Parkinson) 1

    Leicestershire 128 v Northants 188-6

How many wickets is that today?!

Northants wicketkeeper David Murphy is trapped lbw by Callum Parkinson for just one.

Northants have lost their last four wickets for 20 runs.

  14. Busy day at Old Trafford

If you missed the news from earlier, England batsman Keaton Jennings and veteran seamer Graham Onions have agreed to join Lancashire from Durham next season.

  15. Post update

There are still quite a few overs to go in the seven remaining matches, but light could become an issue sooner rather than later.

  16. WICKET Levi (lbw b Parkinson) 38

    Leicestershire 128 v Northants 186-5

There's a long way to go in this Division Two promotion race yet.

Richard Levi is out lbw to Callum Parkinson.

15 wickets have now fallen at Grace Road on day two, or effectively day one after Monday's washout.

  17. WICKET Abbott (st Ambrose b Patel) 9

    Warwickshire 188 v Hampshire 112-9

Kyle Abbott dances down the track to spinner Jeetan Patel but is beaten by the flight of the ball and stumped.

This has not been an impressive innings from the visitors at Edgbaston.

  18. WICKET Collingwood (b Ashwin) 27

    Worcestershire 335 v Durham 106-4

    Late boost for Worcestershire!

Durham skipper Paul Collingwood chops India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin onto his stumps at New Road.

The countdown to Worcestershire's promotion is on. Five more wickets required.

  19. Stumps at Chelmsford

    Essex 227 & 134-2 v Yorkshire 111

    Nick Browne

And that's your lot at Essex too.

The champions skittled Yorkshire for 111 before reaching 134-2 at stumps, Nick Browne and Dan Lawrence both hitting unbeaten half-centuries.

  20. Close of play at Hove

    Sussex 565 v Notts 108-5

    That is indeed stumps.

Retiring Notts skipper Chris Read will resume on 13 in the morning alongside Billy Root (31 not out).
