Live Reporting

All times stated are UK

  1. Birmingham Bears win by 6 wickets

Nottingham opener Michael Lumb misses a run out opportunity to draw the game, meaning Birmingham claim the one run needed to win the match by six wickets.

  2. Ian Bell caught by Lumb off Patel

Ian Bell paddles one straight to Michael Lumb with an attempted reverse sweep. A handy 47 off 38 balls though for the Birmingham skipper.

  3. 'Needless run out' sees Porterfield out

If you want a quick single, you best make sure your teammate at the other end is willing to run hard. In this case captain Ian Bell didn't want to risk it, and William Porterfield heads back to the shed with slightly red cheeks after a good Daniel Christian throw.

  4. Porterfield escapes missed stumping

Oh Tom Moores! A terrible missed stumping gives William Porterfield a reprieve.

To make matters worse, later replays show Porterfield edged the ball, so Moores also dropped the 32-year-old.

  5. Watch: 'Beautiful ball' from Gurney catches out Hain

The first wicket of the innings falls as Hain chips to captain Daniel Christian off Harry Gurney's bowling for 17.

  6. WATCH: Patel caught out

Another wicket for Nottinghamshire. This time it's Jeetan Patel who is caught out in the deep after posting 55 runs.

  7. WATCH: Mullaney sends the ball into the crowd

It's a crowd catch after Steve Mullaney hammers the ball right across the boundary for six.

  8. WATCH: Patel gets fourth wicket

It's a fourth wicket for Patel. He bowls to Christian who then returns it right into Patel's hands. The bowler is, understandably, ecstatic.

  9. WATCH: 'Brainless cricket' as Wessells is out caught

Hain is on form! It's another catch close to the boundary and the victim is Riki Wessels. The commentators are stunned, the Bears' fans gleeful.

  10. WATCH: Hain's 'very good catch' ends Hales' run

It's another wicket as Alex Hales is the next Notts player to be caught out.

It looked on its way to being a six but it's a catch out in the deep from Sam Hain that sends Hales off the field.

  11. WATCH: Lumb out after 'brilliant' catch

    What. A. Catch.

Lumb's run doesn't last too long - William Porterfield leaps in the air and takes a spectacular catch to dismiss the left-hander.

  12. WATCH: Lumb hits an early six

Nottinghamshire started strong with a good performance from Michael Lumb - watch him add an early six to the scoreboard.
