  1. Stumps - day three

That's all I've got time for today.

What a win for Hampshire at Headingley.

I'll be back tomorrow from 10.45 BST with coverage from the two remaining games - Essex v Lancashire and Surrey v Warwickshire.

    See you then.

  2. Close of play at The Oval

    Surrey 454 v Warwickshire 91 & 322-7

Meanwhile, it's stumps in south London.

Warwickshire are just about clinging on thanks to Jonathan Trott's unbeaten 141.

But they still need 41 runs to make Surrey bat again with three wickets remaining.

  3. Hampshire beat Yorkshire by four wickets

Hampshire take 19 points back to the Ageas Bowl, while Yorkshire have to settle for five.

Special mention must go to Kyle Abbott as well.

The South African seamer's 7-41 in Yorkshire's second innings gave his side a sniff. And they took it.

    Hampshire celebrate
  4. Hampshire beat Yorkshire by four wickets

What an extraordinary run-chase that was from Hampshire.

The 2014 & 15 champions have been beaten on their own ground by one of the favourites to go down.

Hats off to Lewis McManus and Gareth Berg - they showed so much composure at the end to see Hants over the line.

But it was a fine performance from the whole batting line-up with contributions by Jimmy Adams, Michael Carberry, James Vince, Rilee Rossouw and Liam Dawson.

  5. BreakingHAMPSHIRE BEAT YORKSHIRE

    Hampshire 141 & 321-6 beat Yorkshire 273 & 187 by four wickets

Gareth Berg smashes Ben Coad for six to win it! Hampshire have chased 320. Wow.

  6. Hampshire need five runs

    Yorkshire 273 & 187 v Hampshire 141 & 315-6

Shot! Gareth Berg smears Ben Coad straight down the ground for four.

    Five needed.

David McArdle: To have a young wicketkeeper who can bat at seven and take you over the line in close games is going to be priceless for Hants.

It's been some innings by Lewis McManus under intense pressure David. He's 30 off 51 balls.

  8. Hampshire need nine runs

    Yorkshire 273 & 187 v Hampshire 141 & 310-6

FOUR from Lewis McManus off Steven Patterson!

The target is down to nine runs. What an extraordinary chase this is.

Don't forget, Hampshire conceded a 132-run first-innings lead, but they've fought back superbly.

  9. Hampshire need 15 runs; Yorkshire four wickets

    Yorkshire 273 & 187 v Hampshire 141 & 300-6

    Hampshire should do this now!

Josh Shaw's 10th over goes for 11 runs, including a horrible misfield at gully by Jack Leaning to gift Gareth Berg a boundary.

Berg's stand with Lewis McManus is up to 42. But it's worth so much more than that.

Tom H:  Enjoying #bbccricket coverage to fill the gap between Sunday football and #masterssunday tonight. Come on @hantscricket - singles will do!

Andy Bird: Great start to the season Yorks vs Hants. All that's missing now would be a hat-trick! #grippingstuff

  11. Hampshire need 29 runs; Yorkshire four wickets

    Yorkshire 273 & 187 v Hampshire 141 & 291-6

Lewis McManus is some young player.

The Hampshire wicketkeeper creams Steven Patterson through the covers to take the target below 30.

There are only two scheduled overs remaining but I think they'll take the extra half-hour.

Ruth Brooksbank: C'mon Yorks, take those final wickets - a win would be a great start to Ballance's captaincy.

Andy: You just know as a Hampshire fan if it was Yorkshire chasing they'd do it. Us? It's always nail biting

  13. Watch Gareth Batty dismissing Keith Barker

    Surrey 454 v Warwickshire 91 & 312-7

    It was Batty's 632nd first-class wicket...

  14. Hampshire need 33 runs; Yorkshire four wickets

    Yorkshire 273 & 187 v Hampshire 141 & 287-6

Lewis McManus and Gareth Berg's stand is now worth 24 - and absolutely crucial for Hampshire.

It's going down to the wire at Headingley.

  15. Close of play at Chelmsford

    Essex 159 & 89-2 v Lancashire 319 & 317-3 dec

Well batted Tom Westley and Dan Lawrence.

The Essex pair see out the final 17 overs of day three at Chelmsford to give their side a fighting chance of saving the game tomorrow.

    Lancashire need eight wickets.

    Haseeb Hameed
  16. WICKET Barker (lbw b Batty) 57

    Surrey 454 v Warwickshire 91 & 305-7

Keith Barker's fine innings comes to an end at The Oval and Surrey have the breakthrough they wanted.

Skipper Gareth Batty pins the all-rounder lbw.

Can Surrey wrap this up tonight? There are seven overs left.

  18. Hampshire need 39 runs; Yorkshire four wickets

    Yorkshire 273 & 187 v Hampshire 141 & 281-6

Are Hampshire now favourites again? I have no idea.

The target ticks below 40, Lewis McManus and Gareth Berg are both looking solid.

I'm pretty sure we're going to get a result this evening though - stay right here!

  19. BreakingCloud spotted in London

    Surrey 454 v Warwickshire 91 & 301-6

The weather is turning at The Oval. Get your brollies out. Oh, it's still perfect.

Talking of perfect - Jonathan Trott and Keith Barker have just taken Warwickshire past 300.

It's been the Bears' session by a mile.

Jonathan Tiley: As a Lancs fan I might (for the 1st time) want Yorkshire to win because Hampshire will battle with us to stay in Division One.
