  1. That's all folks

    That is all from us.

Thanks for joining us for this match, this series, this tour. It didn't end well if you are an England fan. But then it wasn't much fun throughout, either!

We won't be away for long - roughly a month, in fact. England are in the West Indies for a one-day tour at the start of March. We'll see you then.

  2. 'Not an indication of how we've played on the tour'

England head coach Trevor Bayliss, speaking to Sky Sports: "The way we finished tonight is not an indication of the way we have played on this tour. But we have to give credit... India have played better than us on this tour.

"We're not world-class players of spin yet and it is difficult to knock the ball over the fence. I'd like to see our guys hit down the wicket rather than sweep sometimes.

"A lot of times the guys have been out playing across the line but that's something we can learn from and make sure we're better at next time we play here."

  3. 'Chahal has zeal and confidence'

More from Virat Kohli: "The over off Jordan [which went for 24] was a game-changer for us. We were thinking 175 but that pushed us on.

"Mishra started it [England's collapse] but Chahal knew the wicket better. Credit to him for those five wickets in two overs. I have a lot of faith in him. He plays with confidence and is not frightened to get hit. he needs to retain his originality and character. He has so much zeal and confidence.

"[Dhoni] is always trying get the best balance for the team. He is a champion player and a big match-winner. He stepped up today again.

"It is a memorable series win for us. We won a Test series in England. We played a good brand of cricket there. To consolidate at home takes character. It has been a brilliant couple of months. We know what we need to do going forward."

  4. 'I am taking as much advice as possible'

India captain Virat Kohli: "This was an occasion that demanded us to be at our best. Everyone was looking forward to this game. We lost all three tosses but won the series. We have shown character to win all three series.

"It is not a bad thing when you have Dhoni behind the stumps. I am new to limited overs captaincy so I am taking as much advice as possible. It is a matter of me making the decision."

    Virat Kohli
  5. 'We won't dwell too much'

England captain Eoin Morgan: “We take a lot of things from this series. The biggest thing is the bowling. The bowling has been a significant improvement and that is encouraging. In the batting department we chased down 150 in the first game.

"We won't dwell too much but we are disappointed.”

  6. 'It really hurt us'

England captain Eoin Morgan: “We made a fatal error in losing two ‘in’ batsmen when we were going so well. It really hurt us. You have to give credit where credit is due, congratulations to the Indian team.

“With the benefit of hindsight, we could have done with Joe or I to see out the innings. It's a beautiful wicket to bat on with a small boundary we would have taken conceding 190/200 at the beginning at the game."

  7. 'It was a catastrophe'

    Isa Guha

Ex-England seamer on BBC Test Match Special

I don't think England bowled badly. I think it's the sort of pitch you can get pumped for four and six, but I think it was more the Indian batsmen who adapted to the pitch.

England kept getting out at the wrong times. A nice partnership from Root and Morgan but it was a catastrophe after that.

Patrick Kitur: Incredible collapse by England. Beyond top order there's no one to count on. #Chahal class.

Gary Wallis: Boy, that escalated quickly. I mean, that really got out of hand fast. India turned it up a notch...

England fans are in a glass case of emotion!

India recognised it was two-paced so gave themselves a couple of balls to get in, and they were able to capitalise on their wickets in hand and big runs at the end of the innings.

  10. How to lose a game in 19 balls

And here are those decisive 19 balls in all there... ahem... glory:

It was hide behind your sofa stuff for England fans.

  13. '200 is a par score'

Yuvraj Singh, who hit 27 off 10 balls said: "The surface is a batting paradise. It is important to first asses the wicket, but we put on a good total.

"I think 200 in Banglore is a par score, but the way the wicket played it was a good score."

That completes victory in all formats for India. The Test Series, the ODI series and now the T20 series.

  15. India win by 75 runs and take the series 2-1

We've seen plenty of England collapses in our time but that is up there. In the 14th over, England were 119-2 and still in with a shout. Midway through the 16th they are all out and their miserable tour has its fitting bookend.

  16. WICKET

Mills c Kohli b Bumrah 0 (Eng 127 all out)

Game over. The capitulation is complete. Mills edges Bumrah straight to Kohli at slip. It is travelling but the Indian skipper is not letting it out of his grasp.

England have lost eight wickets for eight runs in 19 balls. I repeat, eight wickets for eight runs in 19 balls.

India win by 75 runs and take the series 2-1.

It has been a crazy couple of overs and it all started with Morgan, but he had to try and go and attack them.
