  1. Thanks and goodbye

So what a mixed night for two of Britain's biggest boxing names.

There was joy for George Groves as he clinched a world title with a sixth-round stoppage of Russia's Fedor Chudinov to take the Super WBA Super-Middleweight Championship.

But there was despair for Kell Brook, whose IBF world welterweight championship slipped out of his grasp as he was knocked out in the 11th round after suffering a suspected broken eye socket.

We will end the live page there. Thanks for joining us and bye for now.

Chris Whyte - What fight did the judges watch? Spence was NEVER three rounds ahead, never mind five.

  6. The end of Brook's career?

    Mike Costello

BBC boxing correspondent at Bramall Lane

It never ceases to amaze me how much these men are willing to give. Even when Kell Brook went down tonight it was only because he physically couldn't see out of his eye.

I've got to say I think that will be the end of his career. What is the point of him coming back at a lower level? If he comes back at this level he'll just do further damage.

  7. 'Brook should move to light-middleweight'

Now some quotes from Kell Brook's promoter Eddie Hearn, who said: "He took this fight because he didn't want to vacate (his title).

"He broke his eye socket in the seventh round and kept going.

"Kell is stubborn, I believe he should move to light-middleweight. Amir Khan is a fight we have wanted for five years, but at the moment it is all about making sure Kell is OK."

  8. 'I couldn't see, I had to stop'

Some quotes from Kell Brook. He said: "It was a very tough fight and he is one of the best I've been with, if not the best. I got caught in the seventh in the eye and it felt the same as against Golovkin (when Brook fractured his eye socket).

"I couldn't see out of the eye, so I had to stop. I thought it was very competitive, he won a few rounds, I won a few rounds, I felt I was in the fight. I'm gutted, devastated that in front of my own fans I've lost my belt.

"When I walked out of the tunnel and saw everybody, it was amazing. I'm so proud of myself for having brought this to Sheffield. I got hurt when I got put down, I'm a warrior and when you can't see, there's nothing you can do.

"I will fight anyone, what the fans want, where the money is. I'm sorry for everyone that come out. We made a great night for Sheffield and brought a lot of money into Sheffield. I hope everyone has had a good night."

  9. Spence targets title unification

First up is the new IBF welterweight world champion Errol Spence, who tells Sky Sports: "I give Kell all the credit, and the hardcore fans here. A true champion goes anywhere to fight. He has gone to America and fought so I came here.

"I didn't feel that sharp tonight but true champions still win.

"He was tired, fatigued but kept firing shots. The goal is to unify the champion and become undisputed welterweight champion of the world."

Time for some reaction from the fighters.

That was an elite level fight. Going into the tenth round I had it even.

    Steve Bunce

Boxing pundit on BBC Radio 5 live at Bramall Lane

I just hope in the minutes, hours, days and months going forward that people don't rewrite this fight as some kind as performance from Spence that was brilliant from start to finish. It was a slug fest. It wasn't domination.

  13. Spence was winning on points

Some interesting news from the scorecards. All three had Errol Spence ahead, by five, three and one-round margins.

Every single question that got asked of Errol Spence before the fight has been answered tonight. And more. I think he's something special.

    Steve Bunce

There was a point there just below the stoppage, where Errol Spence just stood there in admiration. Brook was just stepping back trying to get some vision back in his eye. He just couldn't continue.

  16. BreakingKell Brook loses his world title

Kell Brook does not get up. His eye, which has got worse and worse over the last few rounds, is the deciding factor.

Brook is counted out, Errol Spence wins the IBF Welterweight Championship.

  17. Brook down

Brook down again. It wasn't a punch this time. Brook took a knee down to the canvas in the 11th with his left eye causing him severe problems.

    Round 11: Brook v Spence

A very quick recap. Kell Brook was knocked down in the 10th and, despite his left eye nearly closing, he hauls himself up.

Another Spence attack leaves Brook tottering on the precipice. Again Brook keeps fighting, with Howard Foster poised to dive in and stop it. We continue. Now we are in round 11.
