England's Cricket World Cup squad are running in the Westminster Mile for the Ruth Strauss Foundation, which was setup in memory of Strauss’ wife who died in December 2018 from a rare form of lung cancer.
Laura Muir, who broke the British indoor mile record in February, is competing in the Westminster Mile for the first time in six years.
The Scot will take on defending champion Melissa Courtney, 2017 champion Adelle Tracey and European indoor 800m gold medallist Shelayna Oskan-Clarke.
In the men's race, defending champion Chris O'Hare is hoping to become the first man in the history of the event to break the four-minute barrier.

The Westminster Mile will see runners pass some of London’s most recognisable landmarks.
Starting on The Mall participants will head towards Admiralty Arch before turning past Horse Guards Parade.
The course then skirts St James’s Park before competitors cross the finish line in front of Buckingham Palace.Copyright: Getty Images
