  1. Patriots suffer first defeat

There were five late games in the NFL overnight and the big shock saw the New England Patriots beaten for the first time this season.

The Baltimore Ravens beat the Patriots 37-20, with Ravens' quarterback Lamar Jackson impressing.

The Patriots defeat in their ninth game of the season leaves the San Francisco 49ers as the NFL's only unbeaten team this campaign.

You'll be able to catch the best of the action and analysis by watching NFL This Week on BBC Two and iPlayer on Wednesday (00:15-01:05 GMT).

  2. Week Nine's late games

In the other late games, there was another surprise result with the Green Bay Packers losing 26-11 against the LA Chargers.

The defeat is the Packers second from nine games this season while the Chargers now have a 4-5 record.

Elsewhere, Seattle Seahawks came from 14 points down to beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 40-34 in overtime.

The Oakland Raiders beat Detriot Lions 31-24 and Denver Broncos beat the Cleveland Browns 24-19.

Harrison Butker kicked a 44-yard field goal as time expired to give the Kansas City Chiefs a 26-23 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.

The lead changed hands four times at a raucous Arrowhead Stadium, with the scores tied 10-10 at half-time and 23-23 after Butker's 54-yard field goal with two-and-a-half minutes remaining.

Quarterback Matt Moore, making his second start in place of the injured Patrick Mahomes, then made passes of 17 and 13 yards to Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill to put Butker in position for his game-winning kick.

Mahomes must be close to returning as he charged onto the field as the Chiefs celebrated going 6-3 and avoiding a fourth straight home loss. The Vikings are also 6-3 after their four-game winning streak came to a halt.

There was also a dramatic finish at the Pittsburgh Steelers as the Indianapolis Colts' veteran kicker Adam Vinatieri shanked a 43-yard field goal attempt to win it with just over a minute left.

That gave the Steelers a 26-24 win, with Chris Boswell's fourth field goal of the day midway through the last quarter ultimately proving decisive.

Minkah Fitzpatrick returned an interception 96 yards for a touchdown as Pittsburgh went 4-4 while the Colts, who lost starting quarterback Jacoby Brissett (knee) in the second quarter, are 5-3.

  4. Texans win last London game of 2019

    Jacksonville Jaguars 3-26 Houston Texans

Video caption: Jacksonville Jaguars 3-26 Houston Texans: Texans ease past Jaguars at Wembley

Quarterback Deshaun Watson was at his elusive best as the Houston Texans rounded off this year's NFL London Series with a 26-3 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In the second quarter Watson somehow escaped two defenders to throw a lateral pass and keep alive the drive which resulted in a Darren Fells touchdown.

That helped the Texans to a 9-3 half-time lead in front of a crowd of 84,771 at Wembley, before Duke Johnson powered into the endzone to give Houston breathing space.

DeAndre Hopkins then scored in a frantic finish to seal victory as the Texans improved to 6-3, with the Jaguars slipping to 4-5.

  5. Best of the rest

    Dolphins win!

It's time to bounce around on your head if you are a Miami Dolphins fan - they beat the New York Jets to win their first game of the season.

The Dolphins are actually above the Jets now in the AFC East. It means that the Cincinnati Bengals are now the only winless team in the NFL - they don't play this week.

Carolina won again without injured quarterback Cam Newton as speculation continues that he may not play again this year. The Panthers are 5-3 for the season.

The Eagles were comfortable in beating the Chicago Bears, who have now lost four in a row and prop up the NFC North.

And the Redskins, without a touchdown in 13 quarters, are 1-8 after losing in Buffalo.

  6. The late games

Because of the early kick-off at Wembley we aren't here through the late games with you I'm afraid - here's the latest though:

Seattle Seahawks 7-7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

    Oakland Raiders 7-0 Detroit Lions

    Denver Broncos 0-0 Cleveland Browns

LA Chargers 0-0 Green Bay Packers

Baltimore Ravens v New England Patriots (01:20 GMT)

  7. Full-times

The Panthers have won as well - here's the round-up of the early games:

FT: Carolina Panthers 30-20 Tennessee Titans

FT: Pittsburgh Steelers 26-24 Indianapolis Colts

FT: Miami Dolphins 26-18 New York Jets

FT: Kansas City Chiefs 26-23 Minnesota Vikings

FT: Philadelphia Eagles 22-14 Chicago Bears

FT: Buffalo Bills 24-9 Washington Redskins

  8. BreakingDolphins WIN!

FT: Miami Dolphins 26-18 New York Jets

The Dolphins have won it! Their first win of the season!

  9. Post update

FT: Kansas City Chiefs 26-23 Minnesota Vikings

Huge win for the Chiefs. That could have been a fourth straight loss at home.

Instead they grind out the 'W' without star quarterback Patrick Mahomes. And judging by the way last year's MVP ran onto the field at the end there, his return from injury is imminent.

  10. Grim reading

FT: Buffalo Bills 24-9 Washington Redskins

The Redskins have not scored a TD over their last 13 quarters of play.

  11. Get involved

Andrew Priestley: A huge statement victory for the Chiefs, minus Mahomes, against a very strong Vikings outfit

  12. Full-time

Kansas City Chiefs 26-23 Minnesota Vikings

That's it. There were just two seconds on the clock. What a finish at Arrowhead!

The Chiefs go 6-3 and sit atop of the AFC West.

  13. Chiefs field goal to win it!

Kansas City Chiefs 26-23 Minnesota Vikings

It's 44 yards...but Harrison Butker nails it. Never in doubt.

There are Chiefs running everywhere, including the injured Patrick Mahomes charging on from the sideline. The crowd's going wild, carnage in Kansas City!

  14. Late games

Two more matches have kicked off...

Seattle Seahawks 0-0 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

    Oakland Raiders 0-0 Detroit Lions

Denver Broncos v Cleveland Browns (21:25 GMT)

LA Chargers v Green Bay Packers (21:25 GMT)

Baltimore Ravens v New England Patriots (01:20 GMT)

  15. Full-time

FT: Pittsburgh Steelers 26-24 Indianapolis Colts

    The Steelers win it!

  16. Post update

Kansas City Chiefs 23-23 Minnesota Vikings

Huge by Matt Moore. He finds both Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill for first downs.

And that should be enough ground for a game-winning field goal attempt.

  17. Full-time

FT: Philadelphia Eagles 22-14 Chicago Bears

The Eagles have landed. To 5-4.

  18. Post update

Kansas City Chiefs 23-23 Minnesota Vikings

The 'D' has stepped up BIG TIME in the closing stages for both sides.

This time Matt Moore is sacked by Stephen Weatherly for a 14-yard loss. Weatherly actually knocks the ball loose but Damien Williams recovers it for the Chiefs.

  19. Post update

Kansas City Chiefs 23-23 Minnesota Vikings

Great defence by the Chiefs. They force the Vikings to go three-and-out in 30 seconds.

And Britton Colquitt shanks his punt out of bounds at Minnesota's 45.

  20. Missed it!

    Pittsburgh Steelers 26-24 Indianapolis Colts

Adam Vinatieri with the field goal - WIDE! He's scuffed it wide!

The Steelers are going to win!
