  1. Are England expected to win?

    England Futsal

Michael Skubala’s Futsal Lions will face one of their toughest tests when they take on UEFA Euros finalists Poland.

The Poles are currently ranked 26th in the world with England down in 54th place.

The England senior squad’s last contest saw them lose back-to-back games against Georgia.

“It’s important as Futsal grows in England, for people to see Euro level teams but it is also important that the squad tests itself against teams like Poland,” said Skubala.

“They will be physically strong and fast and they managed to hold draws recently against the likes of Russia and Spain.”

  3. What is Futsal?

Futsal is an exciting, fast-paced small sided football game that is widely played across the world and is officially recognised by both UEFA and FIFA. The nature of the game places a large emphasis on technical skill and ability in situations of high pressure, and is subsequently an excellent breeding ground for football competencies that can be translated into the 11-a-side format of the game.
