Drama on the ice as GB's women beat Mexico

Great Britain's women scored two late goals to beat Mexico in their opening Olympic qualifying match in Kazakhstan.

Mexico led 2-0 after 20 minutes before Kimberley Lane pulled a goal back midway through the third period.

Saffron Allen's equaliser came with just 81 seconds left on the clock and, 21 seconds later, Angela Taylor scored a dramatic winner.

"What we had to do was stay patient as we knew the chances would come," said assistant coach James Ashton.

GB return to action against Poland at 09:00 GMT on Friday, before their final round-robin match against home side Kazakhstan on Sunday.
