Nottingham Panthers have signed forward Petr Kalus who played for the club in the 2013-14 season.

The former Czech international, 29, scored the winning penalty shot in the Challenge Cup final win over Belfast.

Panthers forward Stephen Schultz will be out for at least a month after injuring his ankle in Saturday's victory over Manchester.

"We've got some guys out hurt at the moment and Petr fits the bill," said coach Corey Neilson.

"We know him, he knows us and he can't wait to get back to Nottingham."

Kalus is expected to make his second debut on Saturday against Dundee, as long as paperwork and flights are confirmed.
