AP McCoy on At Fishers Cross for Ascot's Long Walk Hurdle

AP McCoy on At Fishers Cross

Champion jockey AP McCoy will be back on board At Fishers Cross in Saturday's Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot (14:25 GMT).

The horse, trained by Rebecca Curtis, suffered a surprise loss on his return at Newbury under Barry Geraghty.

McCoy will hope the six-year-old jumps better after a blunder wrecked his chance behind Celestial Halo last time.

At Fishers Cross is about 6-1 second favourite behind 3-1 market leader Big Buck's for the World Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival in March.

He faces just four rivals at Ascot following the withdrawal on Friday of Long Distance Hurdle winner Celestial Halo on Friday.

Time For Rupert returns from more than a year off, and is joined by Reve De Sivola, Salubrious and Tweedledrum.

Meanwhile, Brian Ellison's well-backed Totalize heads a big field in the £150,000 Ladbroke Hurdle (15:35).
