Frankel the wonder horse

BBC Sport reflects on Saturday's Champion Stakes at Ascot where Frankel stormed to his 14th consecutive win to bring his glorious career to an end.

The world's top-rated racehorse, trained by Sir Henry Cecil and ridden by Tom Queally, beat Cirrus Des Aigles by a length-and-three-quarters in his final race before being retired to stud.

Victory for the four-year-old colt took his career prize money to nearly £3m and he is set to command a fee of £100,000 a time at stud, leading to a £100m valuation.

In January 2013, Frankel officially became the highest-ever rated racehorse on the Flat after a review of global rankings.
