Ireland have hammered Trinidad and Tobago 12-2 in the quarter-finals of the World League 2 tournament.
Thursday's big win in San Diego is the latest step for Craig Fulton's team as they try to qualify for the Olympics.
Stephen Dowds, John Jackson, Michael Watt and Peter Caruth scored as the Irish led 4-2 at half-time.
Further goals followed in the second half from Chris Cargo, David Harte, Dowds, Watt, Alan Sothern (2), Paul Gleghorne and Eugene Magee.
The score had been tied at 2-2 early in the second quarter as Kwan Browne - on his 300th international appearance for Trinidad and Tobago - scored twice in quick succession.
