Champions Trophy: England crush Pakistan in record win

England men recorded their biggest-ever Champions Trophy win over Pakistan with an 8-2 victory in India on Sunday.

Eight players got on the scoresheet with Mark Gleghorne, Nick Catlin, David Condon, Barry Middleton and Ashley Jackson making it 5-0 at half-time.

Sam Ward and Alastair Brogdon scored further goals before Pakistan responded but Chris Griffiths completed the rout.

England, who beat world champions Australia 3-1 in their first game, play Belgium in Tuesday's final Pool A tie.

Belgium drew 4-4 with Australia on Sunday and are second in the table, two points behind England.

Hosts India are in Pool B with Argentina, the Netherlands and reigning Olympic champions Germany.
