US Open: Martin Laird joins Richie Ramsay and Russell Knox in qualifying
Martin Laird became the third Scot to qualify for next week's US Open at Erin Hills after coming through a 120-strong field playing in Ohio, Columbus.
He joins Richie Ramsay, who qualified in England, and Russell Knox, who won a PGA Tour event last year.
Laird carded a pair of 67s at the Brookside and Lakes courses to finish on 10 under par.
That placed the 34-year-old fourth equal, two behind American top scorer JT Poston.
Former world number one Luke Donald will not compete in Wisconsin after the 39-year-old Englishman, who is now ranked at 75, finished on five under par.
Scotland's James Ross missed out over the Germantown and Ridgeway courses in Tennessee as he finished on three under par, seven strokes behind top qualifier Steve Stricker.
