Michael Hoey was three shots adrift of the cut mark as a 69 on Friday saw him end two over in joint 107th position.

The Belfast player had fired a disappointing 77 in his opening 18 holes.

Ireland's Kevin Phelan led after the first round but a 72 left him tied for 14th on five under.
