South Korea's Inbee Park celebrated becoming world number one by beating American Stacy Lewis by two shots in the LPGA Taiwan Championship in Taipei.
Park, who went top of the rankings on Monday, shot a fourth-round one-under-par 71 to finish at 22-under for the tournament, her third win of the year.
Park, 26, who married her swing coach last month, said: "I think this will be my wedding gift for myself.
"It was a tough day and I got nervous on every hole, even on the 18th."
World number two Lewis, also a three-time winner this year, shot a final-round 69.
"I hung in there all day and just made Inbee work for it. She hit the shots when she needed to coming in, " she said.
"I don't think this is the last time we'll be battling at the end of a tournament."
New Zealand's Lydia Ko, 17, was third after a six-under-par 66 on Sunday - the day's best score - finishing on 17-under for the tournament.
