Graeme McDowell missed the halfway cut at the McGladery Classic in Georgia after firing a second round of one-over-par 71 to lie one over.
McDowell had opened the tournament with a 70 on Thursday.
The Portrush golfer posted four birdies and five bogeys in his second round but missed the cut by two shots.
Billy Horshel leads the field on 12 under after two rounds, with Michael Thompson and Webb Simpson tied for second place two shots behind.

The former US Open champion from Portrush dropped a shot at the thrid, double-bogeyed the fourth and then had an eagle at the par-four fifth.
McDowell picked up shots at eight, 10 and 15 but his rollercoaster round at Sea Island ended with a double-bogey at the 18th.
Americans Webb Simpson and Zack Miller lead on seven under.
