Belfast's Michael Hoey missed the cut at the Nordea Masters in Sweden despite carding a four-under-par 68 in the second round on Friday.
Hoey's score was 15 shots better than the disastrous 83 he had in the first round, which included a 10 at the par-four 18th hole.
Hoey, who won the Madeira Open in May, finished seven over par overall, six shots off the cut mark.
Alexander Noren is the clear halfway leader on 11 under par.
Wales Open winner Noren followed his opening 67 with a 66 on Friday.
