Bushell meets stars of the future

BBC Breakfast reporter Mike Bushell met some the country's future sport stars at the School Games in Sheffield.

Held over four days, 1,600 school children competed across 12 different sports, including athletics, cycling, judo, wheelchair basketball and swimming.

The athletes, representing England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland competed at some of Sheffield's great sporting venues, including Don Valley Stadium, which was hosting an event for the final time before being demolished.

If you've been inspired by the School Games, you can go to the Get Inspired pages to find out how to get involved in a wide range of other sports.
