Donaghmoyne's triumph earned the Monaghan club their fifth All-Ireland senior ladies title

Monaghan outfit Donaghmoyne retained the All-Ireland Senior Ladies Club Football title as they beat Dublin side Foxrock-Cabinteely 2-9 to 0-8 in the final at Parnell Park.

Catriona McConnell hit 1-5 of Donaghmoyne's total a they clinched a fifth All-Ireland senior title.

McConnell's 14th-minute goal helped the Monaghan side move into 1-7 to 0-0 lead just before half-time.

The Dublin side, also beaten by Donaghmoyne in last year's semi-finals, outscored the Monaghan club 0-6 to 1-2 in the second half but the damage had already been done.

Meanwhile, Armagh club Shane O'Neill were edged out 1-13 to 3-5 by Galway outfit Annaghdown in the intermediate decider at Parnell Park.

Shane O'Neill's led by five at half-time but the sin-binning of midfielder Shauna Grey just after the break was a big blow for the Armagh side.

Annaghdown hit 1-5 during Grey's absence as Rachel King finished with 1-4 from play for the Galway side.

Aimee Mackin's two first-half goals helped Shane O'Neill's lead 2-3 to 0-5 at the break but their advantage should have been even greater after they missed a number of other great chances.

After Annaghdown moved into a five-point lead, Blaithin Mackin hit a Shane O'Neill's goal but it was too late for the Armagh side.
