Monaghan outfit Donaghmoyne earned their fourth All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football title as they edged out Cork side Mourneabbey 0-11 to 0-8.
The Monaghan team took the title despite finishing the game with 13 players after the late dismissals of sisters Joanne and Sharon Courtney.
Cathriona McConnell hit five points for Donaghmoyne while keeper Linda Martin made three crucial saves.
The Cork side led 0-5 to 0-4 at half-time at Parnell Park.
Fiona Lafferty struck a goal attempt off the Mourneabbey bar in the first minute and Donaghmoyne missed other good scoring chances in the opening period.
However, Martin performed heroics at the other end in the first half as she dived full length to stop a Laura Fitzgerald shot and then diverted a Brid O'Sullivan shot over the bar for a point.
The game remained tight in the third quartet but Donaghmoyne, despite losing the Courtney sisters after both received a sin-binning following earlier bookings, hit the final three scores with Hazel Kingham on target with two superb efforts.
