Cavan secured a narrow win over Longford in Football League Division Three to clinch promotion and a place against Roscommon in the final.
The hosts led 0-6 to 0-4 at half-time and Cavan had Turloc Mooney sent-off for a second yellow card early in the second half at Pearse Park.
A Martin Dunne penalty edged the Ulster county ahead by 1-5 to 0-6 and then Colm P Smyth received a red card.
Both Cavan and Roscommon have 10 points after winning their five matches.
Longford's Sean McCormack ended the match as top scorer with eight points.
The sides traded points in the first half but four frees from McCormack, plus points from Brian Kavanagh and Micky Quinn, saw Longford go in two points ahead at the interval.
Kevin Tierney (2), Niall McDermott and Gearoid McKiernan were the first-half points scorers for the Breffnimen.
After the interval, Martin Reilly pointed to bring the visitors within a point, but Mooney's dismissal looked like it would prove a major setback to his side's hopes.
However Dunne placed his penalty into the corner of the net and then Smyth was shown a straight red following a late and high tackle on Reilly.
Two further scores from Dunne, one from a free, and points by Cian Mackey and McDermott proved enough for Cavan, despite four further frees from the prolific McCormack.
