Derry continued their impressive start to their Division 1 Football League campaign as they easily accounted for Westmeath at Celtic Park.
Goals in the opening four minutes from Cailean O'Boyle and Benny Heron put Derry in an immediate control which they never relinquished.
Four Mark Lynch points helped Derry lead 2-7 to 0-3 although Westmeath hit the last three scores of the half.
Derry continued to dominate with Emmett McGuckin hitting their third goal.
The Oak Leafers had nine different scorers, with Lynch helping himself to 0-6.
O'Boyle hit Derry opening's goal in the third minute and Heron blasted in the second three-pointer within 60 seconds.
Westmeath did have a goal chance when Derry led 2-7 to 0-3 but Ger Egan blasted the effort over the bar.
Further points from Heslin and Ciaran Martin cut Derry's lead to seven at the interval but Derry put the game the bed after the restart thanks to points from James Kielt and Lynch.
Sean Leo McGoldrick's run set up the industrious McGuckin's goal as Derry ran out comfortable winners.
The victory means Derry have five points from their opening three three games which may be enough to already guarantee their Division 1 place for next season.
In contrast, Westmeath, after three opening defeats, are staring at an immediate return to Division 2.
