Wonder why so many people are fanatical about the uninteresting, never satisfied, dull columnist? It appears criticism can not be leveled at the man without having thrown back in your face some unfounded racism or of hatred towards a decent but slightly limited person. He will have received many years of media training, shouldn't need his boss to remedy an unthought out rant.
Wonder why so many people hate good-looking, multi-millionaire, F1 driver Lewis?"The jealous are troublesome to others, but a torment to themselves" William Penn
As an American, I understand the irrational comments about LH. We have a President who is like Lewis, in that he is good, but no matter what he achieves, he will be attacked. When President Obama administration killed bin Ladin, his detractors said he didn't give Bush credit, because the torture of prisoners got useful intel. That is the irrationality heap on Hamilton.
Achieving master status in one's craft requires 10,000 hours of practice. LH spent his on motor racing, not on revamping his intellect. So, gaz et al in this forum, stop whining about his "boring" columns , spelling errors, or poor choice of idioms. More telling is why you read him despite your disdain of his qualities. He is a driver and darn good one at it. And you are sucking lemon big time.
Great drive today Lewis- shame about the tyre but that drive was immense.
Re Punctures, Gary Anderson looked at the kerbs on T4 after the race. Basically they are stepped paving slabs with leading edges and corners that can easily cut in to a fast rotating tyre. As was mentioned by DC, kerbs have been abused by drivers to straighten corners, perhaps these have bitten back?Perhaps our columnist would be better being a bit more thoughtful .like his boss?
@ WHATSINADISPLAYNAMEANYWAYWhy so much hate mate?
AP-Funky speak english boy......and try get a life...........its fun
Commiserations and congratulations to LH for today's drive. Rotten luck but a fantastic recovery drive.Congratulations to Nico Rosberg too, hung in there and got the job done. Great stuff. Great weekend for Mercedes all-round - their race pace looked a lot, lot better today.
@ WHATSINADISPLAYNAMEANYWAY ...not a Finger Boy fan by any chance are you. Well done Seb, that made my day!
It's always been a poisoned chalice being tyre supplier... Lewis is and always has been a bit of a a**e but what a driver and what a race. Two more laps an our adopted Aussie would have won without any complaint (though concerned that twice in a weekend I've wanted a Oz victory even if one was to keep the Lions tour interesting).Driver of the day LH.
Love it. Goes flying with the Red Arrows (something thousands of us would love to do) at the expense of the British taxpayer. Registered as a resident in Monaco, doesn't taxes in Britain. I can't actually say what I would like to say because my comment would be removed. Disgusting anyway.
This comment was removed because it broke the house rules. Explain
how do you get punctures?does the track have glass on it.sssss
