The tire lottery simply benefits some; doesn't others without any ingenuity from the teams. All in the name of artificially getting the grid closer, so that a "show" can be manufactured to increase viewership, which, inturn, would increases revenue, while the less-gifted, sponsor-friendly new guy gets sung because he's non-daring corner attack just happens to save his tires, making him look good.
Good to see NR battling it out on a sinking ship during the early stages. His defense/attack were good. Ruined his tires as a result, taking 4 stops. Good calculated drive from LH. The irony of modern F1 (Tires) is that the low starter's conservative strategy pays off more than that of the aggressive front starter. "The racer" is unsung if the tire lottery isn't going in your favor. Is this F1?
@313 buscuitkid40. jb so smooth he needed 4 stops today. not even mercs did that wow!!!---Rosberg made 4 stops, he drives a merc, clearly you don't know what you are talking about.
hasn't the BBC given LH his own column or blog so he can write for himself? I don't see sky doing that. does that mean sky hates LH? of course not, don't be silly people. conspiracy theories are hilarious.
ha good to see you've gone to open it for comments after I pointed out the double standards.
Andrew Benson, I see you didn't open Jensen's comments about Perez for discussion. Why? To protect your Jensen? We KNOW if LH said such things it would be open for discussion immediately as you expect negative comments and attacks on him for being a "whiner" etc but of cause we know you'll not open JB to that same kind of attack. I'm officially calling you out as a biased and prejudiced reporter.
@314 Just finished watching the Beebs recorded highlights show and yes - ur 100% Right. No mention of Lewis' stellar performance or even as much as an interview with him - at all???!The BBC cant help showing it's true colors. It may have all the riches - but by the same token - it's a desperately miserable, hollow and truly unhappy organization. Its ok BBC, maybe Lew wont score next time. lol
@314.Indeed it seems the BBC is only interested any negative re LH they blow up anything that can be remotely seen as negative and make it a big talking point but ignore positives. They made headlines and a talking point of the fact he was demoted 5 places - always finding a reason to talk about it before the GP but completely fail to point out his great fightback.
Cant somehow stop thinking that JB may have slowed down and braked on purpose at the apex to force Cheko into a collision with his rear (which happened) in a bid to either slow him or clip his nose clean off?? As Cheko clearly said in post interview "JB went suddenly too slow at the apex". Hope im wrong, and that JB was just naturally too slow at the apex. Hmmm?
I don't know if anyone else noticed but the BBC are sooo gutted at how Hamilton did compared to Rosberg that they actually omitted the team summary and interviews ONLY for Merc from the highlights show. The BBC are petty beyond belief. Hamilton made a great comeback today and deserves credit.I know for sure if LH and NRs position was reversed the BBC would have made it the top story.
well we saw the other sinister side of jenslow today. his team mate is too fast for him so no problem run him off the track and then complain to the team!!!! jenslow in another fight with another team-mate. No excuse from the jenslow fanbouys this time. perez next msg to the pits. get im out of the way he's too slow. jb so smooth he needed 4 stops today. not even mercs did that wow!!!
@ yellowbelly who is talking about LH? I wasn't comparing them 2Because it is clear who was more impressive looolAll i am saying is that the Lotus handles the tyres very very well while still maintaining a very fast pace compared to others cars, hence why they were able to do what they did todayguarantee you will avoid seeing this preferring to go in the direction of anti Lewis lol
@310 OddzBut it's you that is arguing for the sake of it. Grosjean's was a more impressive drive than Lewis's today, end of.
