Kubica hopeful of F1 return

Robert Kubica says his chances of returning to Formula 1 are "much better" despite suffering a serious injury in a rally crash two years ago.

The Polish driver is fighting to recover sufficient mobility in the right arm that was partially severed in the accident, and this week he tested a DTM German touring car in Valencia.

Kubica admits there is "still a long way to go" before he can seriously consider a return to F1, but believes he is improving steadily.
