Inside F1 on Vettel grid penalty
- From the section Formula 1
Inside F1 examines how a fuel irregularity led to Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel being demoted from third on the grid to starting the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the back of the field.
The title leader and two-time world champion did not have enough fuel in his car for a fuel sample to be taken after qualifying, and stopped his car out on the track on his way back to the pits at the end of the session.
The penalty promotes his title rival Fernando Alonso of Ferrari to sixth on the grid.
