The right decision made as he same rule was broken for Lewis and its the same penalty, so it's shows some fairness in my view. But Alonso still has to take advantage of it, he will now start 6th but still needs to be on the podium and Vettel not be in the points to be ahead, I suspect Vettel to still be leading the title race after tomorrow, just a smaller margin
CONFIRMED: Vettel to start from the back of the field for not having enough fuel!! Sweet.Sorry Seb. But we need to sex this season up a bit.
They've just announced Senna as their No1 on the BBC news channel. This site is becoming more of joke everyday.
F1 @264 More than happy to agree to disagree. Neither of us have sufficient technical knowledge to be conclusive. Perhaps so one suitably qualified will resolve the issue.Good luck
Sorry not sure if its pot lane or back of grid but its definitely a DQ from qualifyin
Justice at last!!!
Wow!!!! Now that's BIG NEWS!
@262I agree he is undoubtedly more than competent, but that does not mean he did not make a mistake. It is intended to be driver skill and not software that dictates how good a start is made. Why is FA renowned for his fast starts and not FP or SV and not MW. Any way lets agree to disagree as the posts on here today have been very cordial in the main.
Vettel to start from pit lane
F1@248. Like you I do not wish this to degenerate into an argument. Lewis Hamilton was quite clear in complaining about the starting sequence on his car..Surely with so long at McLaren and so many Grand Prix he is competent in starting. Although I am not a techno there is a lot that teams can legally alter( eg engine mapping, fuel control) I am still of the same opinion.
Seriously F1 is a farce due to things like this, but when this decision could seriously affect the championship result I understand them taking their time to make itIn the time it has taken to make the decision Red Bull couldve sent Vettel to space and back
