Note to Auntie Beeb,Consider adding a spelling and grammar checker. The lack of it seems to irritate some contributors, :)
@158. Posted by Forza Ferrari"Lulu, Seriously?? Don’t be a child"He's taking up "singing", it's probably more appropriate than "MC HammerGOAT" as little Francis calls him.
@155. morbox"should of stayed with Honda ..." *************It's should "HAVE" stayed ... Do you even speak English?
Lulu (Diva), top driver, on his day, the best of the current crop, but IMO, not a nice person. (Am I racist)?McLaren's demise is nothing to do with him leaving. RD correctly stated (reinforced recently by Christion Horner), that there is no chance of winning the chapionship as a non factory team.Did he force Honda in too early? probably. Did he blow Honda out too early? Time will tell.
@135. Des Ya. Thanks, son. I was at races before you were born. But, thanks for the history lesson. Ever met Phil Hill? Jackie Stewart? Jacques Villeneuve?
@152. Posted by Forza Ferrari"...That will surely mean Alonso won’t stick around now. Who would they get to replace him with everyone knowing the car will be bad..."Kimi would seem to be the obvious choice if the Leclerc rumours are true. Presumably with Norris replacing Vandoorne.
@149. Posted by oobiedoobie"I get that - it's the public announcement I take issue with."LOL, I get that but there just weren't enough characters. :-)It's a surprising announcement, but it wouldn't be the first time a team boss has dropped a bombshell like this. I'd guess it was done with the approval of the board to prepare us for Alonso's departure, or Zak's already been told he's out?
Lulu? Diva? Bigger Diva that all of the Diva's put together?
@157 Lulu, Seriously?? Don’t be a child
@118 Lulu didn't see what was happening at McLaren, it was pointed out to him by the architect of what is now Mercedes.Mr Ross Brawn.I have never heard Lulu giving him credit for that, has anyone else?
I feel sorry for Boullier. He may have made a few mistakes, but look at the people around him who should be supporting him. It's like a circus only it's not funny.I hope it doesn't end his career, but he's probably not too worried. He just needs to find a position within the FIA and he'll be by far the most intelligent man in there.
I think Eric and Alonso (and his manager) pushed the move to Renault, bad move should of stayed with Honda!
@IrishgreenYour out of moderation 😁😁😁
Mclaren's troubles started long before Alonso's return. Anyone who says otherwise is simply anti Alonso.
Seems madness from McLaren to announce that it will take them years to be competitive. That will surely mean Alonso won’t stick around now. Who would they get to replace him with everyone knowing the car will be bad. Bad times for McLaren but I hope some sort of miracle happens and they can move forward
@96/100/104 PGB Addick Totally agree. In a forum there are always those who cannot help but give way to their bias/prejudice. Alonso has carried both his current and previous team which have indeed underperformed for one reason or another.I wonder if Mclaren should not try to tempt Ross Brawn into returning to a competitive role.
