Hearts manager Robbie Neilson will serve a three-game touchline ban after being sent off in the draw at Rangers.

Neilson has accepted a Scottish FA charge - and one-match ban - after being booked twice at Ibrox, which has triggered a suspended punishment from last term.

He will be in the stand for games with Dundee, St Johnstone and Aberdeen.

Dundee counterpart James McPake could also be banned after being charged from the weekend.

McPake was sent to the stands after a touchline fracas in his team's 2-1 win against Aberdeen, but has not been offered a suspension having already been sent off this season and faces a hearing on 4 November.

McPake was red carded after his side's 1-0 loss to Rangers at Dens Park after confronting the officials about a decision not to award his side a penalty.
