Don't worry, he'll be gone in six months anyway, that's how Barca work!
Sacked at the top of the league, way to go.P45 for Klopp?
135. Posted by FCKim I think you misread my post, I was stating that I would like to read more about other teams in our football league, there are great stories up and down each of the leagues which is worth time.the .co.uk part of the site states its a UK hosted site, any many of us support teams outside of the "Big 6", what's wrong with a good underdog story for example?
@142 "Nothing you write is worth read if you cannot get your name, thus yourself, to a minimum level of integrity and respect." You need to use a gerund there rather than the verb "read" as "worth" is followed, in this case, by a noun. Nothing you write is worth reading if you cannot get your name...You're welcome. I'm here to help.
Absolutely disgraceful this writer cannot even cope to demand his name properly written by his employer - it's BalaguéNothing you write is worth read if you cannot get your name, thus yourself, to a minimum level of integrity and respect.
I’ve never understood how Barc and RM from a relativity low income county - now and especially 50 yrs ago - have such expensive teams. Maybe something about their league not sharing the money out as is done in England.
I think this writer is the worst of all for the BBC sport column..
So, when the big teams with the big egos lose matches it is often because the players can't be bothered to run hard enough to win as they are trying to get their manager sacked. Who would be a football fan?
Not bothered about the sackingJust came to to say I wish Messi and Ronaldo both come to play in the premier league either in different teams of the same team even if it is only for half a season.Still dreaming of that day...really wish I had a few billion to make it happen
101. Posted by Old Father Thames on 14 Jan 2020 20:06For the love of god introduce threaded replies Agreed. Pretty much every other comment system on a major news outlet has had them for a while. Why is the BBC so far behind?
People are calling this job a poisoned chalice but is it?Multi million salary, lovely country with great weather unlike Britain, working with a team that runs itself and if/when a few results go wrong you walk a with a massive pay off!A 'poisoned chalice' I would certainly drink from!
47. Toilet Duck BBC is not only for English people and to read about Barcelona is much more exciting than most of English teams.
I do wonder why some people still feel so jealous as to still mention oh look plastic fans, they don't live nearby and have never been to their supported clubs games.Grow up and just support your team. I do hope Barca flop for a few seasons because of how horrible they are when trying to sign players. Madrid too.
Haha, all Bianca's posts removed, Happy days lol
I am surprised that a team like Barcelona would have put themselves in this position. First changing manager mid season, that is what teams like Everton and Arsenal to name a couple from a league I know but to make it worse they couldn't hire a top level manager. All of the ins and outs we don't know must have been horrible to cause these moves. I think the team average age is too high.
Barcelona are nearing the end of the Messi era. While still great, and with skills still beyond most mortals, Messi is no longer at the very peak of his career. Any team and any manager of that team would struggle with gradually losing possibly, probably, the greatest player ever.
