@174 GunnerstormThose comments do not reflect reality. Clearly you know all about the cracks that can appear, you have plenty of evidence. Your comment demonstrates a certain level of blind naïveté. Your opinion is valid but flawed, wait and see!
@175. GodfodderI like wolves and im not being disrespectful, i admire the direction Wolves are going. Nuno created that togetherness and its a thing he will carry wherever he goes. Arsenal themselves have a portugese director and they can work together to bring the same there. If Nuno stays at Wolves thats good, but i'd really like to see him at Arsenal. The decision is his.
174 Gunnerstorm, Big means nothing in the modern era of mega money for all prem teams, Wolves owners are richer and more ambitious than Arsenals, plus the Emirates stadium is a library, Molineux is loud and raucous every game, he wouldn't leave us for you, a club in turmoil, fans hate the board, at Wolves everybody is together, one pack.
@173. Litman....yes, but Arsenal are bigger and better than Wolves. Nuno's wolves side performed well against Braga but then the cracks appeared and frustratingly lost a 3-1 lead. That's the team's fault for not focusing the whole 90minutes.At Arsenal he knows he can go get to the Europa league final.
Nuno is clearly a man with the highest ideals, great honour, humility and integrity. Does anyone seriously believe he should be compared to the money motivated egomaniacs like the Mourinhos of the football world. There is not a chance, it is the destiny of Nuno Espírito Santo to complete his task with Fosun and Wolves and take his place in football history for all the right reasons
Everyone seems to forget Nuno via the Mendes and Fosun link was attracted by the nature and the challenge of the Wolves project. The total commitment, belief and ambition of Nuno, Mendes and Fosun was instrumental in attracting many top class players, also attracting the widest range of talented club and business professionals all buying into the vision and ambitious strategy to the club.
130 GG The Arsenal HYS has approx 4X the comments of this game. But, the vast majority seem to be from Spurs ‘ fans ‘ either crowing over Arsenal’s poor recent record or the sacking of Emery, yet you regard this criteria as an indicator of the club’s respective sizes. Rational persons would say this is rather an indication of people’s childishness and spite. Which, I feel, you have in abundance.
Also saw the usual "Sheff Utd are physical" straight from the Rothmans football cliche yearbook of 1986. I've seen every Premier League team play the full 90 minutes at least 5 or 6 times this season, plus highlights of every other match, Sheff Utd are about the least physical team in the league! It's a good job for you, your manager isn't Pellegrini or Solskjaer and will actually do his homework
I read comments from Wolves fans about Sheff Utd, who clearly haven't seen them play much. Their defence "looked dodgy" against Man Utd. Yes it did, for about 8 mins, mainly because they had Moore (GK) and Jagielka starting for the first time all season, in place of 2 of their best players. Nearly every other match, their defence has been like a brick wall. Judging on one match is never too smart
Nuno is a terrific manager, but Arsenal are a shambles. He may well be tempted, but he should remember that he has a great job where he is. If he moves he could easily get sacked inside a year. Look at Nathan Jones, looked a basket case decision to leave Luton for Stoke and so it proved. Clubs like Leicester, Wolves an Sheff Utd have top players, strong fanbases and deserve their place in the sun
Nice to see so many positive comments on here from non-Wolves fans.Hope Nuno isn't tempted to go to a fickle club with fickle fans far better to stay at a club where he is loved by the fans and where the potential is unlimitedNo point in trying to measure how big a club is,I am sure people were saying how great Sunderland were when they won the title for the 6th time but that was in the 1930's
Don't worry lads. Nuno has more sense than to get involved with that shambles of a football club
Sadly Wolves are not European material, in fact they're punching above their weight in the EPL.If I was Nuno I'd be looking for a big club to manage, not some diddy jumped-up west midlands outfit.
Wolves can win this tournament.
Nuno is staying at a club where he has final say on all transfers and a club that is still in a Eurpean Competition. Why would he go to Arsenal and be told what to do by Kroenke, and then get fired after 2 years. Arsenal are the new Man Utd. Hi Ho Wolverhampton!!
I really am fearful now that Nuno may leave. Why go to a club on the downhill when he has a project here with the necessary backing and with a club that is on the up? Nuno MUST stay
Hey the BBC do know who Wolves am They keep talking Nuno to Arsenal.He.s not that thick to leave a team where he.s loved to go to a team where the trouble stems deeper then the manager.
