116. No I don't think a boyhood leeds fan who has recently signed a new contract at Leeds who are looking to get to the premier league next season to join his biggest rival who are also struggling
77. JuliusCaesarWasASocialistEngland have won as many international titles as Czechoslovakia, the USSR, Denmark and Greece. Embarrassing----Admittedly, I'm setting the bar low here, but it'll always be one more than Scotland. At least..That'll always be a source of mild amusement. Particularly how much it annoys our northern friends. So much, that you've chosen to mention it.
@118 explain who our front 3 are? 2 is obvious, however Tammy could be making the choice harder, in 4 years if he carries on. Sterling yep. And who is this certain 3rd player?
I'll be surprised if Connor Gallagher isn't in the team by then, he has all the attributes needed to go to the top providing he keeps working hard.
@114. Posted by DrJoeRashford is quite possibly Englands best player now, it is being a team player that he struggles with.
I think it will be mostly Man Utd dominant with talented young players such as Henderson, Wan-Bissaka, Willliams, Garner, Gomes, Greenwood all coming through, If they continue as they are I'm sure they will be in or around the England set up, its hard to predict who will be around in 4 years, I definitely think Henderson will emerge as Englands number 1 and Rashford will be even better.
them are my best forwads
@62The point I was making (possibly badly) was that there will be players around in 5 years that most premier league fans don't currently know exist. To try and pick a team now is just about impossible.
Both Wilshere and Shaw would be at least in the squad but for injuries so fair play to you for that effort. Maguire and Rashford came from obscurityin 2015 to be probable starters in the summer, and there will doubtless be some talent we haven't seen yet break through. I can't see anyone outside the current squad dislodging the front 3 we have now.
Henderson TAA Mings Gomez Chilwell Madisson Foden Mount Sterling Abraham Sancho
105. Posted bySimon Worthingtonon2 hours agoKalvin Phillips will be in the England team for Euro 2020, mark my wordsDo you think Man Utd will buy him in the January window then Simon?
Lol, I know it's a slow week, relatively speaking, but really?
Rashford will be England's best player in 5 years time.
Top effort. Clyne, Shaw and Wilshere were plagued with injuries since but were great prem players in 2014. Dier played in two major tournaments and became a holding midfielder, still has a slim chance if injuries. Redmond was the only bad call but he has at least been capped since the prediction. Don't see the likes of Cleverley, Chalobah, Gibbs, Shelvey, Rodwell etc
Worrying really how few england players (injuries aside) actually become a longer term part of the DNA is it no wonder they so often struggle ?
HendersonChilwell, Tomori, Gomez, Wan-BissakaRice, Foden, Alexander-ArnoldRashford, Kane, SterlingI think we will see Trent transition to midfield in the next 12-18 months as predicted and analysed by a lot of people. A lot of players such as D.Henderson, Rice and Gomez rely on what club theyll be at in 4 years time. Probably Foden as well.
