Shrewsbury Town will face Mansfield in the FA Cup second round after Dave Edwards' goal gave them victory at Bradford City.
The League One side won it when former Wales international Edwards scored from close range after the break.
The Bantams enjoyed the better of the play in the first half, with James Vaughan seeing a shot blocked from inside the six-yard box.
Bradford, third in League Two, pushed on in search of an equaliser but the visitors held on.
