South Gates only allowed to play his favorite players not looking performance.if he looks the performance England can win easily.
@ Dobber 973 … "too many non English playing in our top league"Yep, you hit the nail right on the head … it's been that way since the PL in 1992 (the last half decent England side was 1990 - co-incidence eh ?). We are getting a few more good young players coming thru but not enough of them, and few of those get regular PL (or championship) games. Will the PL/EFL fix it - hahaha, joke!!
What's all the fuss about we lost one game. Czech are a good side.
usual problems too many non English playing in our top league so don`t blamed Southgate only 25 ish players to choose from, dodgy goalie always likely to be caught out with ball on ground, dodgy midfield and at the moment not too goodup front !!
If they concentrated on football rather than the potential for crowd trouble they would probably have played better.
Grim, dismal, disturbing, cracks, struggle, rattled, unpleasant after taste, shambles, forgettable, desperately mediocre, defensive frailties, dreadful night, nervous, out of his depth, unimpressive, shaky, bad night, exposed, poor, fat lot of good, glaring deficiencies, soft underbelly, predictable, pedestrian, outmanoeuvred, no good news, fragile team - The BBC's finest non-biased reporting.
Rooney was a disgrace as a role model. Not sure why a WAG would once more want to be in the spot-light over nonsense, when all the real damaging head-lines have just died down. Perhaps that's the in-sight to the Rooney family that was missing from the equation. Dysfunctional doesn't begin to describe the circumstances of the Rooney. Family. Fame, fortune, and fecklessness is their hallmark. Shame.
So HYS Fraternity a simple question .....Do I stop at home and listen on radio listening to their views or go to pub and watch game so I can make up my own view and comments ?Ps ... I do not have a TV hence going to pub, no reason for drinking mind you.
How many times did it take 10 passes to get to half way, and another 10 to pass the ball back to the goalie? How many times did Rose take a throw-in with no-one free to aim at? No movement, midfielders not making forward runs, too many players uncomfortable on the ball, unable to beat the press - except by passing backwards. Best 2 midfield passes were by Kane. Pathetic performance all round.
Easily identifiable pattern of beating rubbish such as Spain, Croatia, Colombia and Sweden. Yeah OK
The assertion it's one game is WRONG - it is an easily identifiable pattern of beating rubbish a& choking against any team with ability, fight and especially both. They believe their own BS, from club to country - The cracks that are papered over are chasms. But for some reason evidence is ignored and the powers that be prefer a fantasy world where our front three are world class .. hilarious.
English Rugby suffered for decades from that school-playing field tradition so that English rugby coach selectors would just try to make a team out of the "goody-goodies" who could be relied on to "do their best" and train enthusiastically "in the absence of the enemy" - But, to quote a IWW quip about the army, in the real thing the enemy is present and the "great minds" are not.
Football team almost as feeble as our PM !
It may well be true that Henderson is the first name on the team sheet... The legacy of the school playing field tradition is that coaches like teachers will often favour those who are most helpful in training , never make trouble, and are desperately keen to play in whatever role they are given...It takes a Brian Clough to get geniuses, who no-one else can cope with, to fulfil their potential
Not so great now England......
