Eastleigh 0-0 Chorley

Heavy rain interfered with the flowing football as Eastleigh and Chorley cancelled each other out in their National League draw at Ten Acres.

Both sides struggled in increasingly boggy conditions as there was little let up in the adverse weather. With just one win all season, Chorley were happy with the away point.

Danny Hollands had a late overhead kick disallowed for offside as the Spitfires extended their unbeaten run to five matches.

Eastleigh had the better chances and tried to increase the tempo towards the end. Marcus Barnes skimmed the post, and several tricky balls into the box failed to elicit the vital goalscoring touch.
