Regarding my previous comment on page 1. Andone has a massive massive ego. I mean he`s not that good in all honesty. I hope I never see him in a Brighton shirt again. I`d sideline him forever from the 1st team squad until I could get rid of him and bring in young Connelly. Strikers should not be making malicious tackles like that. They are bought to score goals. Simple as that.
I was at the game and it all happened so quickly. I don't think Andone intended to injure his opponent but he was very reckless in trying to pull off a tackle he isn't a good enough player to make.
From a neutral, well done Saints, you're STILL the biggest (and best) club on the south coast. Brighton and Pompey know it. Boringmouth don't even count
No 55, Steve Bruce thinks you are MASSIVE!!
As a long time BHA fan, I cannot condone or excuse one of the worst fouls I’ve ever seen. Thank goodness no one was hurt. No top rank player should be that out of control. That’s bad enough, but given that Brighton stayed in the game with 10, it cost us valuable points. On the plus side, stats show a much more balanced side than the parked bus of last season. Need to be more clinical up front.
Two south coast minnows.
Brighton should sack Andone for 'gross misconduct'! And Swarbrick with his VAR can review to ensure there's no clear and obvious error. It should save the expense of an industrial tribunal......providing of course that they get it right.
Great opportunity lost. Had hoped Andone would be on his way following Potter's appointment as the player is a thug. Feel we would do better playing Locadia in the more central role. Imagine after a ban he'll be frozen out the team for a while now.
Andone has a history of stuff like this. I have no doubt that Brighton would have won this with eleven players.
Got to love Bianca Jackson!!
40. Posted by largequestion - I totally agree. It should be what the presenters have between their ears and not between their legs. BBC has been politically incorrect and misguided for a while now. Had to laugh at their view on cricket yesterday - "England have to survive 8 sessions to draw the match"....hahahaha if England survive 8 sessions they will have scored enough runs to win the match
I said it last week, and I will say it again this week. Aaron Mooy - what a joke, happy to say he is a Premier League player and pick up a salary for keeping the bench warm. Despite being our best player last season (easy - the rest were a shambles), he is way over-rated as proven by not being able to get in BHA starting line-up.
40.largequestion Perfectly well said.
Bury can ==== off and Graham Potter will prove to be a pointless appointment, it's a good day to be a Port Vale fan lol
Good result and VAR was spot on. Coyr
Great day today. Bury given a 48 hour reprieve, Palace put Man U to the sword and to top it all off, the weed lose deservedly to the Saints after their thuggery. The sun is shining
Heartening stuff from Saints, first points of the season enabling a welcome escape from the relegation zone. Hopefully, we'll push on from here.............
Andone is another car crash of a player, to hot headed, should have been booked for the earlier challenge on Gunn. This should have been a game we could of got something out of. I fear it's going to be a long season of troubles ahead but hope I'm wrong. Up the Albion
I thought Brighton outplayed us today. They were more inventive and creative and kept the ball soooo much better than we did. We should have lost BUT as is the case with footy sometimes we didnt and 2 of our most creative players sorted us out. Brighton will be fine this season as Potter seems a great coach. Great stadium btw.
