Paulo Dybala: Tottenham move off after Juventus decide not to sell
Last updated on .From the section Tottenham

Tottenham's proposed move for Paulo Dybala is off after Juventus decided not to sell the 25-year-old forward.
Manchester United ended their talks with the Argentine earlier this month because of his wage demands
Tottenham are still set to sign Fulham's England Under-21 left-back Ryan Sessegnon for £25m with midfielder Josh Onomah moving the other way.
Spurs had previously abandoned their interest in Sporting Lisbon's Bruno Fernandes because of the asking price.
Dybala joined Juventus from Palermo in 2015 for £23m and scored 10 goals for the Italian champions last season.
He also scored in a friendly against Novara in Turin on Wednesday.
Former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri took over as Juventus boss in June.

Impressed by how Spurs are showing intent and ambition.
Also showing up Arsenal in their levels of ambition after opening a brand new stadium.
Spurs not selling off best players to "pay off the stadium" as Arsenal supporters told year in year out.
Time will tell if Spurs are makin the right moves but at least they are giving it a right go.
Will be interesting to see how he does. If even Man Utd turned him down because of his attitude and wage demands, it may not be such a good sign. Then again, Dybala may have made those demands in return for not being able to play in the Champions League. If he plays as well as he can then it's a great signing.
Seems like poor form Juve though to pull out.
Man Utd, no Champions League and have players on 500k? - He wants 350k a week and massive signing on fee.
Tottenham, Champions League Finalists and have an excellent wage structure with no top end earners - He accepts no signing on fee and reduced wages

Rubbish. Firstly, City have not spent anything like that amount on signing players. "
Unless all of the sources on the internet are all coincidentally saying the same thing, then they have indeed spent £1.5 billion since 2008. Eye watering isn't it?
As a Spurs fan, this is classic Levy. Don't buy the 'Juventus decided not to sell' line.
Levy loves dropping a big name in, making out we will sign them and then the deal falling through.
This lack of activity will cost us. A tough season ahead.

If he wanted £350k per week and his Agent £40m I'm glad Levy said no. Thats greedy even by todays standards.

I'm guessing you didn't pay a lot of attention at school?
