Wigan Athletic have signed Portsmouth forward Jamal Lowe for an undisclosed fee, Chelsea wing-back Dujon Sterling on a season-long loan and Hungarian goalkeeper Daniel Gyollai.

Lowe, 25, has signed a three-year deal with the Latics after scoring 30 goals in 119 appearances for Pompey.

Sterling, 19, spent last season on loan with Coventry City, where he made 40 appearances for the Sky Blues.

Gyollai, who is 22, was released by Stoke City at the end of last season.

Lowe, who played under Cook at Portsmouth, told the club website: "It's been a long couple of months and there's been a lot of speculation with some discussions back and forth, but I'm happy that it's finally done with and I can concentrate on getting ready for the season.

"There was some relief when the pen hit the paper and also excitement because it's a great opportunity to play in the Championship under a manager who has shown his faith in me before."

Meanwhile the club has also agreed a new three-year contract with 20-year-old forward Callum Lang.

Lang has yet to make an EFL appearance for Wigan, but spent all of last season on loan at Oldham where he scored 16 goals in 50 games.
