HATE PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT PRICES ETC.... Remember PREMIER LEAGUE PLAYERS AND CLUBS PAY THEIR TAXES!!!.... so they are all top tax bracket and all paying full tax. No Sweetheart deals with the government like other corporate organisations. So remember that when people are complaining about mega wages etc!! Imagine the state of the country if we didn't have these mega paid stars.
He's at least twice as good as Iwobi so it's a bargain for Inter. Can't blame him for escaping a league he wasn't appreciated in.
What a pathetic articleThere's even an utterly pointless bar chart entitled...…….. "Leading PL scorers since Lukaku joined Man Utd"The dregs of sports journalism
I actually think Lukaku was a good striker but just not for the style of play that suits the movement and interplay of Rashford, Martial, Lingaard, Mata and Pogba. So his inclusion interrupts their development. But he knew how to bully defenders but he turned our football into long balls over the top.Probably should have kept Fellaini for that role. But I think Lukaku will do well in Italy.
You can see the disfunction in the club management easily. Ex. why they did not buy Maguire when Jose wanted him to bolster the defense? They became wise after the event has occurred. And why the hell "Hair do" id*ot is still there?
Poster boy for everything that's gone wrong at Utd since Woodward was hired. Recruitment policy has been an unmitigated disaster. Can't even recoup their money when transfer fees have skyrocketed in the meantime. Look at LFCs or City's purchases in the last 4-5yrs by comparison, yes there have been some duds but the gulf in the overall squads is huge.
£74M? Expensive donkey.
By selling Lukaku they managed to recover a good chunk of the money they had already spent in the transfer window. Now they have started to look for a football director which should have been the first step in the rebuilding process. This a topsy - turvy attitude which have become the trademark of United under Woodward. I hope someone with experience is appointed who has already done the job.
I don't care if it's 50m+ add-ons or 70m+ Either's a good price for someone who is inconsistent & rarely scores v top opposition (club or country). Has the positional sense (and 1st touch) of a rhino. (PS.. to all the people saying Ole is clueless, he doesn't negotiate deals, you have no idea who he asked for/didn't). United needed another forward yes though I'd say a Def Mid more, Matic useless.
#479 Mandy. Banking?
Inter clearly have far, far more money than sense. One of the most over-rated PL players ever.
Lukaku was at least a genuine 20 goal a season striker. Rashford is not. Hope Sanchez steps up to the mark, but doubt it. We will need probably one, maybe two, summer windows to transform the squad. We have more deadwood than the Amazon rain forest and need to slash and burn. A genuine director of football orchestrating all of this instead of useless Ed would be a massive plus.
Wouldnt even pay 74 pounds for him to be my butler.
A big lump.. Emile Heskey on a good day. Will score goals but will also have days when technique abandons him and you wonder if he has ever played football before in his life.. and those days can often stretch into weeks of poor form.Glad he has moved on.
50 odd million plus add-ons and 5 million of that goes to Everton.
477.Hard working but sh.ite, not his fault though.
