He's a candidate with us. Speaking to my people we agree there'll be a long list of managers awaiting the chance to take a big club like us forward.Deano & JT have finally got us back up to the league we belong. But my Villa need to strike whilst the lion is hot & bring in a manager that meets our expectations & can attract the best players. We have the money & the pride.UTV VTID
Sarri's had a good first season at Chelsea. I suspect that he would be a strong candidate for the Juventus job if he wanted it, or he may prefer to stay at Chelsea. With a transfer ban and Hazard 99% leaving next season will be tougher.
Firstly well done on winning the Europa League Mr Sarri. However we have played 64 matches but for some reason Chelsea can only manage to play the first or second half. I want Chelsea to be successful but more importantly to play the full 90 minutes and we need a manager who can install that attitude if it's Sarri no problem if it's not then find the one to do it before we become Arsenal
The BBC should not give up on its justifiable campaign to hound Sarri out of his job. They could possibly start an HYS on how Sarri will get on with his phalanx of centre backs and midfielders when he can no longer compensate for his stupidity with the brilliance of Hazard.
👋🏻 Take Jorginho aswell..!
After 50 years of blue blood running through my veins, I was unsupportive of Sarri mid season. Got to apologise to him for doubting his persistence and producing a fine season. Well done and I hope he stays to blood some returning loanees with the experience already in place for at least another season. Christensen was awesome last night. Kings of the Kings Road again.
That second half didn't look like 'sarriball' to me. It looked more like the attacking style that Chelsea have displayed over the years.Does Sarri deserve to stay on that basis?Add to that Arsenals complete capitulation.....
Of course Luiz supports Sarri. No other manager would play him, They both need to go, and they have to take Jorginho with them. Chelsea needs to rebuild with the younger players. Sarri is not the manager to do that.
Nevin thinks Guardiola would "batter the door down" to take Jorginho. That is the absolute pinnacle of delusion.
Strange how the club is run. They seem to encourage instability and never back their manager. The latest is a real oddball but he has done very well in his first year. Then the talk of a couple of ex-players who have little managerial experience to come in. I suppose the fans will point to their trophy haul and throwing money at it under umpteen managers. Strange club?
Did think he was on the way out after the city flogging, but in the end it's doubtful any other manager could of done better than 3rd and the EL cup with the squad he had. Whether or not it's enough for him to stay is another matter.
Where was Terry when the trophy was being presented?
Sarri is smart. He's gonna make Chelsea pay to get rid of him. That BS about Chelsea wanting HIM to pay them....lol.He has Chelsea by the sack.
He'll be gone before the new season sadly. He'll be hounded out the same way Benitez was, even though he's done a good job & proved many wrong.
From a Chelsea regular's point of view, it's a pity we had to wait 62.5 games to see some decent football. Mixed feelings about the manager, but can't knock what he has achieved in first season
Fair play to Sarri, so many haters yet he gets them in the top 4 and wins a trophy, some are never happy.
@69. yeah-no Waaaaaait a minute.... *rips off fake moustache and wig*…. you're just a bitter Arsenal fan....Stop talking nonsense!
I'd hate the BBC to speculate on the prospect of me retaining my job. I think I've done alright over the last three years and yes I've had one or two run ins with the company secretary for not backing my ambition with cash, but my boss has always been conciliatory. Fortunately there is no big rush from anyone else to do my job.
