Will Vaulks: Cardiff City agree fee for Rotherham United's Wales midfielder
Cardiff City are set to make Wales and Rotherham midfielder Will Vaulks their first signing of the summer.
The clubs have agreed a fee and expect to complete the deal next week.
Vaulks' former club Falkirk will receive a sell-on fee as part of the deal that saw him join Rotherham from Scotland in 2016.
After making his international debut in March, the 25-year-old won his third Wales cap in the recent 2-0 Euro 2020 qualifying defeat to Croatia.
Vaulks recently signed a new one-year deal with the club relegated from the Championship at the end of the regular 2018-19 season.
He started at Tranmere Rovers and had a spell with Falkirk, before joining Rotherham.
Vaulks was a surprise call up by Wales manager Ryan Giggs to make his debut in the friendly win over Trinidad and Tobago in March and made his competitive bow in the Euro 2020 qualifier against Slovakia.
Cardiff manager Neil Warnock is looking to rebuild his midfield following relegation from the Premier League.
Long serving Icelandic midfielder Aron Gunnarsson has left to join Qatar's club in Al Arhaby, while loanees Harry Arter and Victor Camarasa have returned to their parent clubs, Bournemouth and Real Betis, respectively.
