Barnsley 4-2 Fleetwood Town

Barnsley moved back into the automatic promotion places in League One with victory over 10-man Fleetwood.

Jacob Brown aimed an accurate pull-back to Mike Bahre, who fired home from seven yards to put the hosts ahead.

The Tykes doubled their advantage when Cameron McGeehan's deflected shot looped up to the feet of Cauley Woodrow, who fired into the bottom corner from close range for his 17th goal of the season.

Harry Souttar headed a corner down for Ched Evans to halve the deficit and give Fleetwood hope.

But little over a minute later, Souttar was sent off for an elbow on McGeehan in an aerial challenge.

Barnsley quickly took advantage as Mamadou Thiam rounded the goalkeeper and crossed for McGeehan to nod home.

Wes Burns headed in from a corner to set up a nervy finish, but Brown sealed the win for the hosts soon after.

Victory left the Reds two points clear of Sunderland and Portsmouth, who each have a game in hand.
