Bromley 2-0 Wrexham

Marc-Anthony Okoye
Marc-Anthony Okoye joined Bromley from Braintree in July 2018

Marc-Anthony Okoye and George Porter goals gave Bromley a fourth successive National League win as Wrexham slipped down a place to fourth in the table.

The win sent Neil Smith's side up two places to 11th and eight points off the play-off places.

Okoye met Frankie Raymond's corner with a powerful header and George Porter's low shot doubled their lead.

Graham Barrow's visitors rarely threatened as they suffered a third successive league defeat.

Wrexham manager Graham Barrow said: "We've been on this (3G) surface three or four times this season and we learnt from the Sutton one, and we talked about it beforehand today - everybody thinks it's going to be a beautiful football game because it's flat, but it's not.

"It's about competing for the ball all the time and we didn't do that in the first half.

"In the second half we did and gave ourselves a glimmer of hope, but obviously we didn't create enough."
