Sol Bamba wasn't booked for his striptease because the referees have been given a new directive. If Bamba admits to stripping then he gets booked. Referees are fed up of being criticised for booking strippers, especially last week with the Leicester scorer. It's not a ridiculous rule. It's ridiculous that players know they should get booked and still take their tops off regardless. Idiots.
146 - Mark E.Maybe count the passes for Cardiff’s first goal - 25 I think. Not just a lump of a free kick to the back post.I have witnessed a number of sides poorer than Cardiff.Brighton are one of them...
A hard earned win but a win none the less. Cardiff City are staying up so all the haters just keep on hating.
The points are welcome, but on the basis of the performances to date, it's difficult to see Cardiff avoiding the drop. The three relegation places will be:18 Southampton19 Cardiff20 Fulham
Glad for Warnock like to see him do well....But when will Brighton learn that Stephens is a liability in their team?...they really should do better!
We need to unwrap the cotton wool from around these players and let them play football including tackling like men. Never a red!
Not sure if Bamba's goal offside or not. The crucial moment of game was yet another reckless challenge by Stephens. The man has no place in the prem league. Having said that Brighton have more than enough fight to stay up, and a class manager to boot, so good luck to them.
I was in Wales last week,,,,seen a bloke in a field with a sheep,,,I said are you shearing that??? He said no get your own,,,,dunno what he was on about...Seriously though I hope Cardiff stay up along with my team obviously. One cos I like Warnock,,genuine bloke,,two cos Cardiff fans seem like decent fans, and three to annoy all these football snobs who think they know it all
Admittedly the goal was offside - hard to tell for the lino but would definitely have been given with VAR. But how anyone can debate Stephens being a red I don't understand. Horrible challenge.
I am a Brighton fan and whilst I felt that the red card was harsh, Dale Stephens has previous of reckless tackles and he gave the referee to opportunity to give a red. The winning goal was clearly offside too but frankly Brighton deserved little out of the game as Hughton refuses to divert from plan A, whether it works or not. The officials were terrible but so were both teams so there you go
Mark E. U clearly can't count . As due to character limitations on are i have to economize. Yep I will enjoy this season being officiated by incompetent officials. Though that's same right through the league's. This is y England r crap. From players to official's. So far up your a-_es you cannot see the truth.
As a City season ticket holder I know that our football is the poorest in the league but what we do have is character and passion. That might not be enough but at least 8 teams are as bad as us so 32 pts might mean staying up and if that happens Neil should have the stadium named after him.I just pray Tan gives Neil some money in Jan to spend on a striker and creative midfielder.25 mil at least.
Hughton should have stayed at Small Heath (lu lus)A grown manager crying like a stood up teenager. I for one would have had Colin (Warnock) down my VILLA before Deano & JT walked in to take us back where we belong. May 2019 top 6 Villa back in Europe 2020UTV VTID HITS
Cardiff needed that more than Brighton.A bit of a struggle against 10 men (it happens) but it was a deserved red.Lot of respect for Hughton but it was a valid goal.
Having been to most Cardiff home games this season the actual difference has been marginal. Arsenal were very fortunate just things like midfield first touch and lack of quality in the final 3rd. However we are undoubtedly getting better each week and we are finding our feet in a very tough league. We can definitely stay up and already Chris Sutton is having to eat his words, he did us a favour.
So many deluded PL fans who think their team is something special. Brighton have had a a couple of years in the PL, spent a fortune yet are barely ahead of a Cardiff side well worthy of their victory today. Wipe away your tears Mark E and man up, you’re in a relegation battle this season too.
